Jesse Olema has become one of Los Angeles's top professional fiddlers. Growing up in the northern California hills, he was able to craft a style all his own. Soulful and melodic playing, with a deep groove and attack, that has earned him some top spots playing with artists all over the world. His classical upbringing and technique sets him apart from many players, but the real gift is how he moves between genres like country and bluegrass, jazz, Celtic, rock & pop, perfectly fitting to the natural feel of every song.

"Equally impressive was the fiddler, Mad Paddy (Jesse Olema), who played as if the Devil himself entranced him. He played with grit and finesse, screeching harmoniously the riffs up and down the scale.” - Johanna Vanderspool, Blurred Culture / Vaud & The Villains at The Broad Stage - March 22, 2017

Studying at CAL ARTS in southern California, he trained in classical voice, as well as  improvisational jazz, American & world traditional music on violin.
